Be an Online Missionary!

Ever wish you could be a part of what God is doing all around the world? You can! God has obviously put you wherever you live to reach that location for Him (Acts 17:26-27) but that shouldn't stop you from also being a part of the international revival happening right now!!!

That's right, 174,000 people are coming to Christ every single day; that includes 34,000 South Americans, 30,000 Chinese, 25,000 Africans and more than 16,000 Muslims who put their trust in Jesus every single day! While those numbers are staggering, those people need follow up and discipleship.

That's where you come in! You can sign up to be an online missionary. Global Media Outreach needs your help! Click here to see live decisions for Christ through this ministry and you'll quickly realize how much they need your help. Then, click here: http://www.globalmediaoutreach.com/online_missionary.html and register to become an online missionary. You'll have the opportunity to help disciple people that have come to Christ all over the world! It couldn't get easier than that!

Sharing the Good News Couldn't Possibly Get Easier Than This!

Here's the simplest idea for sharing your faith you will probably ever hear. Share an evangelistic website with a friend and post it to your social networks. Several ministries focus completely on reaching people through the web. These typically reach thousands daily with the gospel (more on that below). Check out Godrev.com's vision here. So here is the idea: think through any friends you have that don't yet know Jesus and send them a message encouraging them to check out one of the following sites. If the person is a college student send them to http://www.everystudent.com/ and send anyone else to http://www.lookingforgod.com/. You should also post these links to your facebook, twitter or other social media with a short message like, "want to know more about Jeus, click here." If you think these sites are irrelevant, think again; yesterday 1,978 put their trust in Christ on the lookingforgod.com site and as I write, early this morning, over 11,000 people have already put their trust in Christ on everystudent.com and other Global Media Outreach sites. You can see some of those live decisions on the interactive map below or by clicking here (this site will blow your mind). You never know, one of those live decisions for Christ might end up being one of your friends! And, in case you were wondering, these decisions aren't just random numbers out in internet land - they are real people and real believers really follow up with them. You could even help with that by clicking here. Finally, don't forget to pray for these people as you watch these live decisions for Christ and don't forget to share these sites with friends and on your networksCould evangelism get any simpler? Have a great day sharing your faith!

What do Hot dogs have to do with the Good News?

Which of the these men do you think is most hungry? Which one do you think could eat the most? If I had to pick I would naturally choose the biggest, thinking he'd be the hungriest. We often do this with evangelism. We can easily begin to try to analyze where people are at and assume a whole lot that we really shouldn't assume. We heard a speaker at the Denver Christmas Conference a few years ago teaching on the parable of the sower (Mt.13:1-9). He asked what kind of a farmer sows seed among thorns, in rocks and on the road. He concluded, "a moron!" He then continued, saying, "God called us to be seed chuckers, not soil specialists." He was right on the money. It is so easy to try to guess which people would be most receptive in stead of sharing the greatest news and only true hope with everyone I can, letting God work in their hearts. This is a huge mistake. If you thought the bigger guys in the picture above could put down more dogs you were wrong. Similarly we can't assume who is ready to trust Christ - only they and the Holy Spirit know that. We can't pre-judge! I hope this funny analogy encourages you to share your faith with people around you regardless of what they look, dress or talk like - love them all with the love and message of God Himself! Read this post for more on how to know if someone is ready to hear the gospel and check out the video below to find out which of these men won the hot dog eating contest! (Is it just me or do those guys take this competition a little too seriously?)

Revival is Here - This Will Shock You!

Revival is already here!!! God is moving in ways that surpass anything you or I can imagine (Eph.3:20-21). The insanity and chaos you see around you today are simply evidence that people are searching more than any time in history, and that search will lead them to Christ - Mt.9:37! We have the privilege of being on this earth during the greatest revival in history. Over 260,000 people hear the gospel and more than 174,000 trust Christ worldwide every single day (34,000 in South America, over 30,000 in China, 25,000 in Africa, 16,000 in Muslim countries and more all around the world)! See those stats and more here and here. That's GREAT news but there's so much more to be done. Over 150,000 people die each day (Thats nearly 2 per second), many into a Christ-less eternity. That means a few hundred will die in the time it takes you to read this post. God strategically put you where you are to win your sphere of influence for Him (Acts 17:26-27). Listen to the message below for more about the revival that is already here and how you can be a part of it:
