"Evangelism saved a life" update - Power of prayer!

We first shared the "evangelism saved a life" story briefly last week and then told the more detailed story yesterday. Last night at about 10 pm Raymond called and shared an incredible update with me. He had just gotten off the phone with "R" the friend who had been with "J." You will remember that "J" had a court date that morning. We prayed God would bless him and work things out and then encouraged him with scripture. "R" called to let us know the judge had basically dismissed everything and the hard legal situation "J" was in was totally resolved. "R" and "J" knew it was all God and they are both excited about prayer. "R" asked us to be praying that God would heal his back so please pray for his back! "R" said the anger "J" had last week for the person that had hurt his family, had dissipated. He and his wife are Christians but had not been walking with God but they are now planning on getting plugged in to a local church (in fact I think they want to plug in at Calvary International, Raymond's church). Anyway, one short evangelistic conversation has ended up encouraging 2 families tremendously. God is so, so good and He alone gets the glory. Keep praying for God to work in both "R" and "J's" families. I hope this story encourages you both to pray and to share (remember the "Divine Order" - first talk to God about people, then talk to people about God). If you didn't get a chance to check out the new evangelism idea you can check it out here. I already bought my "Save the Storks" shirt. I can't wait to get it and I can't wait to see what kind of conversations I will get in wearing it. Have a great day guys. I pray you will be established through His gospel and sharing the Good News (Rom.16:25).
