Evangelism Idea - Tell a cashier a Bible verse

Today God gave me the coolest idea! A fun way to share scripture with a cashier!

I was buying dinner and my total came up to $8.38. The first thing that popped into my head was Romans 8:38-39
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord"
What a cool way to make the most of every opportunity like Colossians 4:5-6 tells us. Some other ones I thought would be good to share with:

Remember, ask God for opportunities and pray before you go. As soon as you get the total, just tell the cashier it reminds you of a verse you love and then say the verse.

God's word tells us it will not return void and our labor in him is not in vain. (Is 55:11; 1 Cor 15:58) Sharing the very words of God is one of the best tools to get into spiritual conversations and break through the sound barriers. It also motivates me to memorize more scripture so that I can really be ready at anytime!

Leave your waitress a generous tip and some Good News (This is also a great opportunity to leave a verse!)

What other totals and verses would YOU use?
