1 Jn.3:1 - “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” I’m sitting here in Bursa, Turkey, a beautiful town of 2 million people that God loves dearly. We just listened to the call to prayer from the minurette ringing out through the city. Looking from the balcony we could not see one person respond to that call. These people are similar to those of any nation - spiritually hungry yet unsatisfied, searching yet unfulfilled, striving to earn favor with God yet coming up short. I think the contrast is so amazing when I see this and realize the magnitude of all God has given me. Thank you Father.
