Hey Guys,
Just a quick update here. Last night was our Thursday night dinner. We had a great time. Usually the students arrive at 6:30, but last night one of the new girls arrived at about 5:55. We had been wanting to share the gospel with her but hadn’t yet been able to (she just started coming to our weekly meeting about 2 weeks ago). She had been dabbling in Christianity, having been forced by her parents to be Jewish, but she had never heard the full gospel. Since she showed up half an hour early Erin was able to share the gospel with her and she indicated a desire to put her trust in Christ. What is so interesting is she was first introduced to us by one of the other new girls who just became a Christian herself. Please pray that this precious young woman will follow through and put her trust in Christ.
All that being said, I spoke on Hating Hypocrisy at our weekly Connect meeting on Tuesday. Pray God will continue using this challenge in students’ lives.
Tonight we’re having a “Half Night of Prayer” with our students (we’ll be praying till midnight). Pray God gives them a heart for prayer. We miss and love each of you and couldn’t be here without you.
