Atheism Class Presentation

I had the privilege of speaking to FLC's atheist class this afternoon. The professor teaching this class was my favorite teacher in college and I know, love and respect several of the students in the class. I was very humbled to be asked to provide an alternative perspective to the atheistic focus of the class. My time got cut short so I only had about half the time I prepared for so its was a bit rushed at times and there were some lively interruptions but it all turned out great. I hope you enjoy the MP3 and would love to hear any feedback you might have. Thanks so much for listening! P.S. For a more slower paced and shorter version of this message you can check last week's God Solution show here. Here's today's presentation:

  1. Really good presentation Nate. God's has truly given you a gift to be able to compassionately and logically debate on this issue. You and that ministry are in prayers daily.
To those who are searching remember this,
Heb_11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
God can take the simple seed of faith that believes HE exists and work a miracle in you.

  2. If I had anything to say about it, theoretically denying God's plan for my own life (!), and I had the choice, I'd trade you minds.

I also believe that if Paul was alive today and heard you speak, he'd say, "My man."

I thought the radio version was great; listened to it first. Then the classroom presentation really grabbed me because you wove in heart-preaching, anointed preaching, with all this. The objections were more prevalent in the beginning, then tapered off to "Is there anyway I, an antheist, can seek God?", which is the same as saying, "I know I need salvation". I'd say all that was left to do was a coup d'etat in the Spirit! I reckon that's next!!
