The original Jesus would have been at the Occupy Jerusalem movement. However, the 'Jesus' of today (hatefilled and radical) would be the 1%. Today's Christians are power hungry and the ruling class, look at Palin, Bachman, Murdoch, and others. Today's christianity is nothing more than a capitalistic way to control the masses. The church sells and promotes fear as a way to further enrich itself.

ReplyDeleteNot sure. That 1st comment sounds like the typical clueless accusation that embodies everything it's supposedly frustrated with (hate, etc.). "Anonymous," please listen to the show and I'm sure you'll have a different perspective.
ReplyDeleteJesus would occupy MLK Jr. Blvd or the closest public area to a hospital that was turning away the uninsured poor...not Wall Street.
